About the Artist:
Acclaimed French Comics artist and animator Olivier Vatine made his name with the Aquablue series in the early 90’s. Well-known for his famous pinups, he is best known to Star Wars audiences as the penciler of the Dark Horse Comics adaptation of Timothy Zahn’s HEIR TO THE EMPIRE. Olivier Vatine also wrote, drew and colored three-volume adaptation of Stefan Wul’s NIOURK (French sci-fi classic). This series has been nominated at EISNER AWARD 2019 (Best U.S. Edition of International Material: Niourk, by Olivier Vatine, translated by Brandon Kander and Diana Schutz)
