This summer DC and Warner Bros. are finally bringing to the big screen Wonder Woman starring in her own film, and Kotobukiya is celebrating this momentous occasion by presenting this amazing new version of the character in our elite ARTFX Statue lineup. That’s right, joining the previously released “Trinity” of DC Comics along with Flash and Green Lantern is the WONDER WOMAN MOVIE WONDER WOMAN ARTFX STATUE! Since her comic book debut in 1941, Princess Diana has been an icon of female power, intelligence, and grace. Arriving in “man’s world” from the island home of Themyscira, Diana donned a red, white and blue costume to protect the world as Wonder Woman. And now you can bring this powerful heroine home as she’s depicted by the incomparable Gal Gadot in the new blockbuster film!
A symbol of power thrust into a whole new world, Wonder Woman stands ready for whatever may come in her quest to protect all humankind. Diana wears an updated version of her iconic outfit featuring a red and gold bodice with eagle motif, gold belt, blue skirt, and tall red and gold boots. Meanwhile, no version of Wonder Woman would be complete without her star-studded tiara, bracelets (here more like armored bracers), and Lasso of Truth coiled at her waist. The Amazon princess even strides into battle with the mighty sword and shield she wielded in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and she can also be changed to her futuristic version [this is on the offer sheet but I have absolutely no idea what it means]! With her legs slightly spread apart for balance and her weapons at the ready Wonder Woman scans the streets for danger, her head turned to look over her left shoulder. The likeness of Gal Gadot as the superhero is uncanny, and looks fantastic matched with Diana’s long flowing black hair.
Sculpted by M.I.C., Wonder Woman stands just under 11 ½ inches tall (in the ARTFX 1/6 scale) atop a special cobblestone street display base. This beautiful and powerful version of the Amazonian will be a stunning centerpiece in any Wonder Woman collection and she will look great on your shelf!
