Presence
The Witch-King of Angmar, the leader of Ringwraiths and the most powerful servant of Sauron, revealed himself with his flaming sword in Infinity Studio’s honored MasterForge Series! The LOTR master forge series continues with the first 1/2 scale antagonist after Legolas and Gandalf! In this series, the full-body statue is presented in half-scale with exquisite details in order to achieve its ultimate presence. This will meet the desire of collectors who would like to pursue the ultimate-class collection.
Background
The Witch-king of Angmar, also known as the Lord of the Nazgûl, was the leader of the Nazgûl (Ringwraiths) and Sauron’s second-in-command during the Second and Third Ages of Middle-earth. The Witch-king was nearly indestructible, a terrifying warrior, and a cunning strategist.
The Design and Details
In his dark cloak, the faceless witch-king appears mysterious and frightening. In order to replicate the movie’s texture, we selected the appropriate fabric material. The helmet and full-body armor feature a strong metal texture, and the weathering effect emphasizes the Nazgul King’s combat experience. With the spikes on the helmet and the sharpness of the mace, you can immediately feel the danger. As he clenched the sword in his hand, he became even more terrifying. The patterns on the hilt and hammer handle are clearly defined and accurately engraved. Additionally, the stylized base design contributes to the statue’s characteristics.
Exchangeable Accessories
In The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, the Witch-king of Angmar faced Gandalf. In the midst of flames, he drew his sword and declared, “This is my hour”. Based on this scene, we designed swappable parts for the weapon in the hands of the Witch-king. With its built-in lighting effects, the flaming sword enhances the overall visual sensation. In addition, the mace chain is movable, allowing our collectors to pose it freely. (Friendly reminder: Please be sure to place the mace on a flat surface. The weight of the mace will cause the statue to fall and be damaged if it is placed in the air.)
