After the mad titan Thanos the exclusive Marvel Universe Fine Art Statue series from Kotobukiya is setting its sights on heroes once again, and up next is the mighty Avenger known as VISION! The second character to go by that name, the “synthezoid” Vision was created by the evil Ultron as a pawn in his schemes against the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. He first appeared in the pages of the Avengers in 1968 by Stan Lee and Roy Thomas, and despite his origin was swayed to the side of good and joined up with the very heroes he was designed to destroy. The Vision is a highly advanced android with a suite of powers including flight, intangibility, super speed, energy blasts, and more. He’s gone through several different looks over the years, but now he’s coming to you in an incredible Fine Art Statue presentation capturing his most iconic appearance!
Hovering over the battlefield, the robotic Avenger raises his arm to accept his enemy’s surrender… or to put him down for good! Vision seems to float in mid-air above a destroyed urban landscape, and if you look closely you’ll see that he’s actually phasing through a girder; his left leg penetrates the building material and it in turn erupts from his cape behind him. Ever a colorful superhero, this classic Vision wears his iconic costume consisting of a green skin-tight bodysuit revealing the android’s enhanced musculature with bright yellow boots, gloves, a large belt and trunks, and a massive cape with a high collar. There are so many details to appreciate like the yellow diamond-shaped chest logo, the chain at Vision’s neck, and of course the Solar Jewel at his forehead. Meanwhile, the Avenger’s stoic face is a deep red and his eyes an unearthly white.
Sculpted by master artist Erick Sosa, Vision stands over 16 inches tall in 1/6 scale floating over the unique destroyed building rubble display base.
