With his name-sake shield in hand, Thorin Oakenshield is ready to lead his fellow adventurers on an unexpected journey through the MINI EPICVERSE. Smaug beware, this dwarf means business. Pair him up with Azog the Defiler for a mighty showdown of the ages. The first thing Mauro and I do is sit down to come up with a concept that truly captures the soul of the character. We want each pose to evoke a feeling of nostalgia and love for the individual characteristics of the MINI EPICS – to speak to you on a level that adds to your experience of the film.
