British costume designer and screenwriter Glyn Dillon chose to apply a rubberized print to make the look more modern and durable,while adding weather resistance to complete the well-worn look by sanding and brushing the jacket as well.
Although the original jacket was roughly finished on the inside, we added a lightweight polyester liner for comfort and made the communication badges removable with pin attachments and Velcro. Aging is long lasting and will not fade with dry cleaning.
