When Marvel Comics reimagined a number of their most popular characters in the far-flung future, a new webslinger was introduced with Miguel O’Hara. The scientist O’Hara’s experiments into rewriting genetic code accidentally gave him 50% spider DNA and with it many of the powers exhibited by Peter Parker’s Spider-Man. Miguel took on the mantle with a super cool costume, and now you can bring home this futuristic superhero in an all new ARTFX+ Statue presentation based on artwork by Stefano Caselli!
Protecting the future as well as the past through the events of Spider-Verse, Spider-Man 2099 is a hero for all time. The man with arachnid DNA is ready to face down his enemies, hunting in a low crouch. O’Hara wears the classic and most iconic version of his costume, a skin-tight blue bodysuit with a red spider symbol on his chest that stretches down his arms and a matching minimalist mask. The suit is accented by spikes on his forearms and a wispy airfoil that flutters from his shoulders like a small cape. Spider-Man 2099 leans forward on his left foot while keeping his right tucked underneath him, and as he turns to scan for bad guys he holds his arms out to his sides with his fingers tensed and talons ready to go. Sculpted by Junnosuke Abe (RESTORE), Spider-Man 2099 stands just over 5 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale), and magnets in his feet provide perfect stability on the included display base. Display the futuristic hero alone or alongside other incarnations of Spider-Man, his allies, and his enemies from Kotobukiya’s ARTFX+ Spider-Man series!
