Superman – 1/10 Scale ARTFX+ Statue – DC Rebirth
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! In 2016 DC Comics relaunched its entire universe with the aggressive “Rebirth” event designed to reintroduce characters and get back to classic storytelling and themes while continuing many of the popular aspects of the previous New 52 era. One of the biggest changes was the return of the classic pre-Flashpoint Man of Steel along with his wife Lois Lane and their son Jonathan. And now the stunning redesign of SUPERMAN -REBIRTH- comes to the popular 1/10thscale ARTFX+ Statue lineup as you’ve never seen him before!
The embodiment of truth, justice, and the American way, Superman is back in a big way! The mighty Kryptonian and champion of Earth combines classic and recent looks with a powerfully muscled physique and a new take on the latest costume with a more unified blue bodysuit with integral boots delineated by red bands. There’s also a red belt-like accent and of course Superman’s iconic “S” shield shining bright in red and yellow on the hero’s chest. Flowing from his shoulders and flapping in an unseen wind is the long red cape you know and love emblazoned with the “S” in yellow. Superman stands in a herculean pose designed to strike fear into his enemies, legs apart for balance and fists held at the ready. An incredibly detailed sculpt replicates every muscle and sinew, not to mention the Man of Steel’s chiseled jaw and intense facial expression as he turns his head towards a looming threat to Earth. Sculpted by Ikkei Jitsukata and Mizuki Iijima, Superman -Rebirth- stands just under 8 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10thscale) on his included magnetic base. Display this new version of the mightiest of all heroes alone or alongside other DC superheroes and villains from Kotobukiya’s ATRFX+ lineup!
