Kara Zor-L, the Power Girl was cousin to Kal-L, the Superman of Earth-2. During the Crisis on Infinite Earths she ended up surviving the merger between Earth-1 and Earth-2, but lost her memory. At first, she thought she was a cousin to the Superman of that Universe, which later proved to be false. In the meantime, she adopted the identity of Karen Starr and founded a software company, in addition to participating in the International Justice League and the Justice Society of America, where she became the team\’s first female leader.
