Oldest of the Pevensie children, Peter feels an innate responsibility to look after his younger siblings. When confronted with the unsettling situation of being considered the saviours of Narnia, Peter displays his courage in leading his sisters in their attempt to recover Edmund and to free Narnia. Astride his unicorn steed, Peter is instrumental in the final battle. He rightly takes his place as “Peter the Magnificent,” High King of Narnia.
