First appeared in Episode 425 of the anime, he debuts as a tremendously large man, with an intimidating aura around him, strong enough to destroy everything close to him, the power being an integral part of Impel Down’s ‘bastion of iron.’ Granted with the ability of Venom-Venom Fruit, Magellan features an extremely dominant style of fighting. A simple attack from him can melt down even the sturdiest walls due to its fierce venom. There can be no doubt that he occupies the top rank of combat power in the Impel Down Chapter. The mighty Magellan. The statue is based on the scene from Episode 435 – Luffy’s first battle with Magellan. In order to rescue Ace, Luffy bravely burst into the Impel down. In the burning flames, he is countered by Magellan, his formidable archenemy. With the ability of Venom-Venom Fruit, Magellan can release an exceedingly toxic venom from all parts of his body. When the guards were defeated by Luffy and his friends, the warden himself stepped up. As the venom oozed from him, the corrosive toxin spread throughout the air in the form of a deadly dark purple dragon, causing huge damage to the landscape. Luffy activates Gear Two and fights courageously in the face of such a towering enemy. His body turned red as steam continuously poured out. It was his determination to save his brother that made him willing to be poisoned, in order to break through the ‘bastion of iron’.
Exceptional design of the SFX parts. Our goal is to preserve as many of the characters’ features as possible and emphasize their originality in texture in the design of the main body of the statue. Magellan’s venom special effect part is different from most of the pure transparent parts currently on the market. In our production process, we have added pearlescent paint technology, which not only enhances light reflection but also adds a sense of thickening and heaviness to the product. It seems as if the dark purple venom that is stained on the wall and that covers Magellan’s body will drop at any second and will really corrode you when it touches you. In this battle scene, Luffy’s muscle lines and the airwaves designed with a gradient effect significantly contribute to its dynamic representation.
Comically accurate paint details. A lifelike sculpture of Magellan’s face portrays the warden’s shocked reaction after being struck by Luffy. Moreover, the look and feel of the warden’s outfit, as well as the polished brightness of the armbands and buttons, allow the statue to display the authenticity of the original anime, looking even more realistic. The painting of the hands and arms highlights the mechanical metal finish and makes him seem invincible. While in Gear Two form, Luffy’s blood will be flowing at a rapid pace, with steam rising off of his body as well as a reddish glow. Both of these features in the anime are faithfully depicted in the artwork.
Realistically designed base. Under Magellan’s and Luffy’s feet, it is a scorching hell just like a huge iron pot. Throughout the entire space, the hot air is permeated by the burning sea of fire. Using cracks and orange flames, the base diorama and walls depict even the tiniest details of the battle, such as the destruction caused by the fierce fight.
