General McQuarrie’s knowledge of logistics and planning made him an integral part of the planning and establishment of the Rebellion’s new Echo Base on the planet Hoth. General Rieekan selected McQuarrie to serve as his second-in-command at Echo Base, where McQuarrie was instrumental in the facility’s construction.
