Don Vito Corleone – 1/10 Art Scale – The Godfather
In the summer of 1945, the admired, respected and sometimes feared patriarch of a Sicilian-American family sits in his classic antique hardwood office chair, holding his pet cat in his lap. Dressed formally in a tuxedo with a red rose on the lapel, befitting the occasion of his daughter’s wedding, he patiently listens to requests for favors from allies at a break, within his secluded office room in his New York mansion. Iron Studios presents its statue “Don Vito Corleone – The Godfather – Art Scale 1/10”, with the main character of one of the greatest and most influential films ever made in his chair, on the old floor of his mansion and the logo of the film also on the front. Precursor to a film trilogy and a successful franchise, The Godfather is known as a landmark of the gangster genre with influences in new productions to this day.
Iron Studios also brings a deluxe version of the statue “Don Vito Corleone – The Godfather – Deluxe Art Scale 1/10”, with a setting full of details, with its old colonial desk table in the background full of carvings on the sides, feet and drawers , with a black dial telephone handset on it next to a cigar box and other accessories. Based on the book of the same name by Mario Puzo, and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, 1972’s The Godfather is the first part of a trilogy that tells the story of the Italian-American crime family Corleone, detailing their rise and fall in a story about violence, family, friends and loyalty.
Founder and Don of the Corleones Vito Andolini Corleone is an orphaned Sicilian immigrant who built a highly organized Italian-American mafia empire. Vito oversees a business founded on gambling, smuggling, prostitution and union corruption, but he is known as a kind and generous man who lives by a strict moral code of loyalty to friends and, above all, family. Known as a traditionalist who demands respect commensurate with his status; even his closest friends refer to him as “Godfather” or “Don Corleone”. Known as the Godfather, in his classic office, life and death decisions are made by him and his children and his consigliere, an adviser and right arm of the family. Selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress in 1990, The Godfather, released on March 24, 1972, is eligible for re-release on February 24, 2022 celebrating its 50th anniversary!
Perfectly portraying the Godfather masterfully played by Marlon Brando in The Godfather, meticulously replicating every detail, and maintaining maximum fidelity to the features and features of the actor in the character, this statue is yet another highly successful license worshiped by fans and collectors that gains an unprecedented version on this scale by Iron Studios.
