Scarlet Witch in the comic strips is the mutant Wanda Maximoff with powers of manipulation of the odds and control of magic of the chaos. Daughter of mutant Magneto and witch Natalya Maximoff, she and her twin brother Pietro, the sprinter Mercury, began as members of the Magneto\’s Mutant Brotherhood, opponents of the X-Men.

Wanda becomes a member of the New Avengers and returns in Captain America: Civil War (2016) alongside Captain America.
