A kindly old Hobbit, Bilbo was surprisingly sprightly for his years, due in no small measure to the mysterious ring he guarded ever since itcame to him in an earlier adventure. But as a new age of darkness threatened Middle-earth, Bilbo came to accept Gandalf’s wise counsel, and passed the ring on to his relative, Frodo.
Sculpted by Ben Hawker, the essence of Bilbo Baggins (Ian Holm) is captured in this amazingly detailed 1:6 scale statue from ‘The Fellowship of the Ring’. It is hand cast in heavy weight polystone and hand painted to the highest standards. The display base has been etched with the map of Middle Earth and includes the Lord of the Rings logo, the character’s name and sculptor’s signature.
