An old and kind-hearted Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins (Ian Holm) was the uncle and guardian of young Frodo. Weary in his bones and wanting to see the mountains and old friends one more time before the end, Bilbo resolved to leave his home for the last time and travel to the Elf-haven of Rivendell. With a deep sadness, and choked by the memories of green fields and happy times, he looked one last time on the Shire before turning to be on his way.
Sculpted by Jamie Beswarick, Bilbo is brilliantly captured in this 1:4 scale bust. He has been cast in heavy polystone and hand painted to the highest standards. He sits on a classically turned base that includes his full name and the sculptor’s signature.
