Gentle Giant Ltd. announced their 2014 Premier Guild Member exclusive 2-1B Jumbo Kenner action figure on December 19, 2013. The figure, which is based on The Empire Strikes Back classic Kenner figure released in 1981, was first publicly displayed at their booth at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con and began shipping in April 2015.
