This lightsaber is a single solid piece and does not have electronics in it. As with all EFX stunt lightsabers, this lightsaber is made from resin but has been chromed and painted to look as close to the real thing as possible. The covertec wheel is made of metal, making it perfect for costuming purposes as you can hang it on your covertec clip without worrying about the covertec wheel breaking (which commonly happens to plastic covertec wheels).
