Aquaman – 1/10 Scale ARTFX+ Statue – Justice League Movie
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Kotobukiya’s next ARTFX+ Statue lineup takes a huge leap from the pages of DC Comics to the big screen and the upcoming Justice League movie. Seen briefly in the predecessor Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the hero of the undersea world who is recruited by Batman when the world needs him the most: AQUAMAN! The mysterious king of Atlantis, the man known as Arthur Curry has metahuman aquatic abilities and superhuman physical attributes thanks to his Atlantean physiology. When called upon he will join with his fellow heroes to confront the evil Steppenwolf and his Parademon hordes, and it is from that action-packed adventure in Justice League that Aquaman joins the ARTFX+ lineup!
The most changed for the screen of all the DC heroes, Aquaman bears little physical resemblance to the classic hero of the comics. A regal character, Arthur stands decked out in his complex Atlantean armor, rendered beautifully in 3D thanks to Kotobukiya’s peerless craftsmanship. The Atlantean king is posed with a slight turn to survey the battlefield, and in one hand he holds his mighty trident at the ready! All of Aquaman’s armor is intricately sculpted to show off its many layers and textures, while expert paint applications pick out its glorious colors and the metals of his undersea weapon. Completing the presentation is an incredibly lifelike portrait of actor Jason Momoa as the character complete with stunning blue eyes, thick beard, and long hair. Sculpted by Mizuki Iijima, the Justice League film Aquaman stands over 7 ½ inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale), and like the other heroes has magnets in his feet for perfect stability on the included display base. Rule the seas with Aquaman in your collection and display him alongside the other amazing ARTFX+ Statues from Justice League!
