A new, fearless breed of Orc, the Uruk-hai were created by the wizard Saruman and despatched under their captain, Lurtz, to scout out and lay hold of the One Ring. Unafraid of the light and standing fully erect, the Uruk-hai scouts were formidable adversaries. Their raid on the Fellowship would have devastating consequences.
The violence of the Uruk-Hai Scout is brilliantly captured in this 1:4 scale bust. The Scout has been hand cast in heavy weight polystone and hand painted to the highest standards. He sits on a classically turned base that includes his full name and the sculptor’s signature.
