Born the daughter of a Greek Ambassador, Elektra led a pampered life. Everything was made available to her, including the best teachers in the martial arts. Elektra found herself exploring her dark side in her college years, the same time she had met the young Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil. The two were kindred spirits, but Elektra’s dark side prevailed, leading her to train with an evil Ninja clan known only as the Hand. Elektra would later go on to rebel against the Hand, and find herself fighting against them side by side with her true love, Daredevil. Not even death at the hands of the villain Bullseye could stop her. Now, resurrected, she continues on as Elektra, Assassin.
